Changed forever...by you!

Any cause that brings awareness while celebrating the uniqueness of all individuals moves me and inspires the artist that is deep rooted in my soul.

A group of young professionals participating in Grow Wabash County's Leadership Development course decided that their service project would be to raise funds for two non-profit organizations that uplift those who might need a little extra love. They chose Waypoint, a group home for women living in recovery and Daniel's Place, an organization that provides respite care and support services across the lifespan of persons with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Thomas, Hayley, Eike, Madison, Cody, & Gavin organized two Trolley for Charity Tours; each tour leveraging local businesses and connecting trolley riders with Waypoint or Daniel's Place. 4 Partners in Crime (4PIC) was invited to be a stop on the Waypoint fundraising tour and I had the opportunity to go on the Daniel's Place fundraising tour. To say I was deeply moved, is an understatement.

My son and his wife have two special needs children, and while their life has unexpected complications, I witness the amount of love and patience that they pour into their family. Support for families like his is dear to me. So, it was a resounding YES when I was asked asked if 4PIC would participate.

From inception, 4PIC has always been meant to be much more than what we serve out of the scratch kitchen. The space is about what is created among the people gathering together.

What I witnessed during both of the Trolley for Charity Tours changed me forever! The generosity of the community, young leaders dedicated to raising awareness, and local businesses opening their doors and hearts; it's at the core of why Wabash resonated with me from our first introduction. Events like Trolley for Charity serve as steady reminder that having compassion is impactful and life changing. 4PIC is committed to advocating for those who could use a little extra love and grace. Together we CAN make a difference!

~ Lovingly, Julie

Special thanks to Thomas Cavins for capturing all of these special moments and for being one of the organizers of Trolley for Charity. He is a gifted and talented young man, who believes in the power of kindness, is a supporter of 4PIC, and my friend.
